Ms. Den Chanry, a 24-year-old snail breeder from Kaoh Kaev Village in Banteay Meanchey Province, is building her future one shell at a time. She runs a small snail farm entirely on her own, combining patience, care, and a hunger to grow. Before joining Pasio, she managed her small business and worked elsewhere to support her income.
Chanry discovered Pasio through her credit officer during the loan onboarding process, recognizing it as an opportunity for growth and improvement. The program provided her with invaluable digital knowledge, enabling her to modernize and manage her business more effectively. Over time, she witnessed tangible growth, with improved farm operations and a monthly income increase of approximately USD 100.
With Pasio’s financial guidance and tips she learnt, Chanry is now focused on building a sustainable business that grows steadily. Her confidence has grown alongside her profits. For her, success means running an efficient, long-term business that supports her well-being.
She shares that one of her proudest moments was expanding her farm and seeing her income rise, a clear sign of how far she’s come. Chanry believes programs like Pasio are essential for young entrepreneurs like her and encourages others to learn, stay consistent, and dream bigger every day.
Pasio is a global initiative by Gojo & Company in partnership with the Education Above All Foundation (EAA), designed to support young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35 through income-generating loans, digital tools, and business education.
